What’s the difference between Science Diet Puppy and Science Diet Large Breed Puppy?

I have a new puppy and the Vet game me a free sample of Science Diet puppy. He’s a GSD and is 41 lbs at about 5 months. I’ve seen Science Diet Puppy Large Breed as well. Is there a significant difference between the two or is it just marketing?

Did the bad food. Science Diet dry and Friskies wet cause my Cat to died of kidney diesease?

I got a orange tabby cat about 6 months ago. I been feeding him Science diet dry food and Friskies wet stuff. I have been reading that this is what cause my cat to died of two days ago. He died of kidney disease.

I currently feed my puppy Precise Plus and my 2 yr old dog, Eagle Pack but would love to find a vet who has a vast knowledge about the different foods out there and isnt trying to force me to feed science diet. I dont like the ingredients in science diet or any other major brand food for that matter. If anyone has any recommendations, I would appreciate it. Thanks!
